Join us on December 21 at 5:00 PM for a Winter Solstice celebration at the Burlington library.

We hope to see you there!
Note: This event is totally free – no donation asked since the venue is free.

We will have a solstice ceremony with singing and calling back the sun.

Afterwards, we can share a few refreshments (please bring something nonalcoholic to share or something easy like finger food) and get to know each other more.

Kids are welcome.

Please volunteer! It would be wonderful if we had a couple of people for setup and cleanup help.

If you would like to take a speaking part in the ritual like calling in a direction, please email magic@skagitpagans.org asap- we’d love to have you help.

The address: 820 E Washington Ave. Burlington, WA 98233

The librarians I spoke with are very welcoming!
It’s a nice space, but the library has a few limitations we need to be aware of.

  • There will be a group in the room next door; an anime club.
  • No alcohol
  • I had previously mentioned that there were no tables, but the sweet librarians emailed me to say they got some!
  • There is a counter top and small sink so we are suggesting an easy to clean up /finger food only.
  • They said they have no control over the HVAC (goes warm/chilly randomly) so wear layers. 🙂
  • Finally we must be out by 10 as their alarm system automatically comes on.

Even with all these quirky things we think it’s a nice spot for a winter event and good location.

Blessed be!
